FLAGS AT SHERFORD, A REMINDER
The Sherford Consortium would like to remind residents that flags should not be hung from lamp posts within Sherford. Lamp posts and other pieces of street furniture remain under the control of the Sherford Consortium and must not be climbed or otherwise interfered with.
We have received a number of complaints from residents regarding flags currently displayed on lamp posts across the site, and we are taking action in response.
This measure is also for your own safety; street lighting columns carry electrical equipment, and the Consortium carries out periodic safety checks to ensure it remains in good working order. Items attached to columns can also obstruct these checks and pose a risk to anyone attempting to reach them.
We would respectfully ask that any flags be removed by Friday 28th August. Any flags still in place after this date will be removed. We appreciate residents' cooperation and understanding on this matter.
