CAPTURE NATURE IN BLUE: CYANOTYPE WORKSHOP
Friends of Sherford Country Park (FOSCP) are inviting members to a Cyanotype workshop on Saturday 12th September, 1pm to 3pm, in the main hall at Sherford Community Hub. Booking required.
Cyanotype printing is a historic photographic process that uses sunlight to create striking blue-toned images from natural materials such as leaves and flowers. The workshop is highly accessible and open to complete beginners, with participants guided through preparing materials, arranging compositions, exposing prints and developing their final images. Everyone will leave with at least two finished prints, typically postcard-sized pieces to treasure or share.
The session will be led by Eleanor, who brings extensive experience running Cyanotype workshops with the Devon Wildlife Trust and is looking forward to sharing this creative process with the community.
The workshop is open to FOSCP members, and partners are welcome too. Places are limited to 15, with a nominal £5 charge to cover materials. It promises to be a relaxed, creative couple of hours - a chance to get together and let your imagination run free.
