MONTHLY UPDATE: APRIL 2025
This month marks significant progress across multiple areas of Sherford. Landscaping is underway in Phases 1B and 2D, further enhancing the development's green spaces. Community amenities continue to improve with the installation of an additional bin in the Community Park, responding to increased usage of this popular area. Meanwhile, management company handovers are scheduled for the first week of Q2, ensuring smooth transitions for residents.
Elsewhere on site, the culvert between Phase 2D and Phase 3AB has now been successfully constructed, with final works nearing completion. And archaeological investigations in Phase 3AB are in their final stages, clearing the way for future development in this area.
Wildlife connectivity continues to be a priority, with work being planned on the badger crossing in Phase 1B. This important feature will link badgers travelling between Quarry Woods and Quarry Kiln, supporting local biodiversity and enabling local wildlife to flourish.
Please note that Sherford Road works have been rescheduled to 12th May to accommodate the Plymouth Half Marathon. This adjustment aims to minimise disruption for both event participants and local residents.
