CHRISTMAS IS COMING
The Christmas countdown is on! It truly will be the most wonderful time of the year, as the Sherford Consortium delivers the gift of a Christmas tree - arriving in the local square outside Sherford Vale on 4th December.
The Sherford Trust, Sherford Community Church and Residents Panel will host a Sherford Christmas Celebration, taking place on 16th and 17th December. Expect a Christmas market, family activities, Santa’s grotto, and carol singing around the tree! If that's not enough, Santa will also be riding his sleigh around the town.

Saturday 16th December
Christmas Market 11.30am – 4.30pm
Come along and pick up a special gift for your loved ones at the Sherford Christmas Market. Taking place at Sherford Vale Primary School in the main hall between 11.30am and 4.30pm. Supporting local makers and business, expect sweet treats, homemade goods, artwork, crafts, jewellery and more. Kids activities 11.30am – 4pm
Head to the Community Hub between 11.30am – 4pm for a range of Christmas themed activities for families and young people.
Come and See Santa! 12 – 4pm
Santa has very kindly, decided to join us in his grotto at the Community Hub between 12 and 4pm. Bring your family to say hello to the man himself before he heads back to the North Pole to get ready for the big day!
Carols around the tree 5 – 6pm
Join Sherford Community Church between 5 and 6pm for your favourite Christmas carols around the tree outside the primary school. Let us spread a little Christmas cheer for all to hear.
Sunday 17th December 2023
Santa in Sherford! 3 – 5.30pm
If we weren’t lucky enough to have Santa in Sherford on the Saturday, he has kindly offered to ride his sleigh around the streets of Sherford and say hello on Sunday as well! You can catch a glimpse of Santa between 3 and 5.30pm on the following route:
1. He'll be starting at Sherford Vale Primary at 3pm and will travel along Hercules/Aries up to the park
He'll travel along and stop for photos at the following stops at the following times:
2. Play Park/Aquarius drive at 3.40pm
3. Boundary Park at 4pm
4. Country Park at 4.45pm
5. Strawberry Lane Park at 5pm
6. Finishing at Ursa Gardens/Capricorn Green/Tucana at 5.30pm
