SHERFORD’S COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS RETURNS
Sherford is set to shine with festive cheer as the annual Community Christmas Celebration returns on Sunday 14th December, from 1pm–6pm.
Organised by Sherford Community Land Trust, Sherford Community Church and Real Ideas, this much-loved event promises an afternoon filled with creativity, music, and seasonal magic for residents of all ages.
Taking place across Sherford Vale School Hall, Sherford Square and the Community Hub, the celebration will bring together families, neighbours and friends for a true community Christmas.
At the Community Hub, children can enjoy arts and crafts activities and meet Santa in his grotto between 1pm and 5pm. Meanwhile, Sherford Vale School Hall will host a bustling Christmas Market from 1pm to 6pm, offering festive gifts, treats and locally made crafts.
From 3pm, the festivities will move outside for a heartwarming programme of carols around the tree, a nativity service, and a performance from the community choir - a highlight that brings Sherford residents together in song and celebration.
Adding even more festive sparkle, Santa will take to the streets on Saturday 13th December from 3pm, touring the town on his sleigh to delight families ahead of the main event.
This year’s celebration continues Sherford’s tradition of marking Christmas with community spirit, festive fun and joyful moments shared across the town. Residents are warmly invited to come along, join in the activities and celebrate together.
