IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS IN SHERFORD!
Sherford’s town Christmas tree has gone up today, bringing the first sparkle of the festive season to the heart of the community.
Standing proudly on the green in front of Sherford Vale School, the arrival and installation of the town Christmas tree marks the beginning of a month of celebrations, events and festive cheer across the town.
Gifted to the town by the Sherford Consortium, the tree is a much-loved seasonal landmark and an annual tradition enjoyed by residents of all ages. Its arrival sets the scene for the school's festive events and the Community Christmas Celebration next week.
The installation of the tree is more than just a decoration - it’s a symbol of Sherford’s growing community spirit. Sherford continues to thrive as a close-knit, welcoming town where events like this play an important role in bringing neighbours together.
Residents can look forward to seeing the tree illuminated during the community gathering on Sunday 14th December, when carols will be performed around it as part of the annual Christmas celebrations. Find out more about the events planned here.
The Sherford Consortium wishes all residents a joyful start to the festive season.
