ESSENTIAL UTILITY WORK UNDERWAY ON NIMBUS ROAD
Essential utility connection work has begun on Nimbus Road to enable new homes in the area to access electricity and gas supplies.
The work started this week and is expected to be completed by 21st November, with teams working Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm. In practice, work is likely to finish earlier than 6pm on most days.
What to expect
Residents will notice traffic control measures in place to ensure the safety of the work teams and road users. Stop and go boards will be used to manage the flow of traffic along the affected section of Nimbus Road during working hours.
If it is possible to use alternative routes around Sherford or the wider local area, please do so. Otherwise, please allow extra time for your journeys during this period.
Thank you
Every effort is being made to minimise disruption. The work has been deliberately planned to focus on small sections at a time, limiting the amount of road affected at any one point. Homes on Nimbus Road will not be blocked and driveways will remain in use during the work.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused over the coming month and thank residents for their patience and understanding while this essential work is carried out as quickly as possible.
