NEW YOUTH HANG-OUT SESSIONS LAUNCHING
Sherford Community Trust is excited to announce the launch of new youth hang-out sessions specifically designed for teenagers living in the Sherford area.
The initiative aims to provide a welcoming space for young people to socialise, enjoy activities, and contribute ideas for future youth provisions in the community. The free taster sessions are designed for local teens aged 13-17, and they will be held next month.
Four Taster Sessions
The Trust will be running initial taster sessions across four Thursdays in May:
- Thursday, 8th May
- Thursday, 15th May
- Thursday, 22nd May
- Thursday, 29th May
All sessions will take place from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at the Linden Event Space, located at the corner of Hercules Road and Pisces Street.
Activities on Offer
The youth hang-out sessions will feature a variety of engaging activities designed to appeal to teenagers, including:
- Board games
- Crafting activities
- Music
- Hot and cold drinks
Most importantly, these sessions will provide young people with the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas for future youth activities in Sherford, ensuring that ongoing provision meets their interests and needs.
All sessions are completely free of charge, making them accessible to all teenagers aged 13-17 in the Sherford community.
