GETTING TO THE NEW SECTION OF THE COUNTRY PARK
A massive new section of Sherford’s Country Park has opened and here is how to get to it. There are now several ways to enter the Country Park, with multiple routes available along its length:
- Enter through the new accessible entrance at the junction of Orion Drive and Pigeon Lane
- Walk across the existing Country Park and drop down into the new section - you can reach this via the footpath from Gemini Road (by the Country Park car park)
- Access it on foot or bicycle by the public right of way by West Sherford Farm.

We are aware that some fencing is in place in the bottom corner of the new area of parkland. This is in place until landscaping is finished on the banks, at which point the fences will move back to allow greater access - and we expect that to be completed soon. Some temporary fencing will remain where there is a need for a barrier between public areas and live construction work, but this will not hinder access to or enjoyment of the Country Park.
