SUPPORT SHERFORD’S CHARITY BAKE-SALE
We recently celebrated the efforts of amazing 8-year old, Isabelle, who had handcrafted hundreds of bracelets to fundraise for the Red Cross appeal after the Syrian earthquakes.
Isabelle is back this summer to raise yet more money for another great cause. This time it's a local charity - and she wants to invite the whole community to get involved.
Setting up a stall outside her home in Sherford, Isabelle will be selling cakes that she's baked herself. All funds raised will go to Jeremiah’s Journey, which specialises in helping children and families with bereavement.
Isabelle is following in the footsteps of brother Toby - who is an official ambassador, raising vital awareness and much-needed funds for Jeremiah’s Journey (take a look at this incredibly powerful video that Toby took part in) - and mum Rachael who also volunteers for the charity.
An exceptional example of Sherford's community spirit, Isabelle is using her time over the school summer holidays to help those in need, raise funds for charity, and boost awareness of important issues. Those living or working at Sherford are invited to pop along, support her and buy a cake!
