DOGS ALLOWED: SIGNAGE UPDATE
Signs were temporarily put up in some of Sherford's parks to advise that dogs are not allowed - and these signs are now being removed. The signs were installed after some residents raised concerns, which needed to be considered.
Those with dogs are welcome to use Sherford's public open spaces. They are asked to be responsible; please keep dogs under control and clear up any waste.
Guidance is being developed to advise where dogs should be kept on a lead and where dogs can be walked off their lead. Areas specifically intended for exercising dogs are being considered within the Country Park. This guidance will be shared with the community.
Apologies for any confusion caused by the temporary signage. Sherford's open spaces are open for public access and designed for the whole community to enjoy, including those with dogs.
