Four new schools
Sherford will have three primary schools, each located within a neighbourhood centre, as well as a new secondary school. The proposed locations for each school can be seen on the masterplan.

Sherford Vale
Sherford’s first primary school, Sherford Vale, is open – and the second wing is soon to be built. A £6m investment, the school has high-quality facilities and state-of-the-art equipment.
It is run by Westcountry Schools Trust, which has a proven track record for educational excellence and the school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its first inspection.

The future of Sherford Education
The plans for Sherford’s secondary school are also in development. The provision of Sherford’s secondary school will be determined by Devon County Council in due course.
