There is a huge amount planned at Sherford this Christmas. Get the following dates in your diary:

Christmas Tree Arrives

Monday 2nd December

As we head into Sherford’s ninth Christmas since work started, the festivities have always been celebrated in style here. Once again, the Sherford Consortium is gifting the town a Christmas tree, decked out in festoon lighting. The tree is set to be installed on the 2nd December, ready for the school celebrations and community carols around the tree.

To mark the season of goodwill, the Sherford Consortium has pledged a £300 contribution to local good causes. This will be split between supporting the family activities run by Sherford Community Trust at the community Christmas celebration on 14th December, and a donation to Plymouth children’s bereavement charity, Jeremiah’s Journey.

Sherford Christmas Celebration

Saturday 14th December, 11am – 3pm

Come along and pick up a special gift at the Sherford Christmas Market. Taking place at Sherford Vale Primary School, this event celebrates local makers and business. Expect sweet treats, homemade goods, artwork, crafts, jewellery and more. There will be Christmas activities for children and young people, next door in Sherford Community Hub between 11.30am – 3.30pm. And between 12-3:30pm, Santa will be in his grotto! From 3:30pm, there will be Carols around the tree and everyone is welcome – let us spread a little Christmas cheer for all to hear.
